Assembled the Macromedia presentation. Agreed upon
how we would present 'The Genius!' on Tuesday 12/12/2000.

Discussed problems encountered while trying to
put themes into one presentation.

Ralph announced that he encountered several problems
in Director which could not be solved by the tutor.
As a result we decided to realise only
3 questions for each theme. We want to emphasise on
quality rather than quantity.
We agreed to finish the presentation by the middle
of next week.

Ralf presented his storyboard for the Space Theme.
Took group photograph. Checked entire homepage for
mistakes (grammatical, spelling, inconsistency).
Decided upon the size of the stage.

Atul and Ralph encountered difficulties while realising
questions for their themes. Decided to change age group
to 10+. Changed 3rd theme to 'Computer'. Ralph and Atul
presented their proposals for their themes.
Decided the structure of credits page. Agreed upon the name
for our program: The Genius!

The storyboard images are not finished yet.
We have agreed that these images have to
be ready by Sat 26 Nov 00. We will attend
labs regularly in the coming weeks.

Agreed upon storyboard image standard:
type: GIF, size: 400x300 pixels
The tasks to be accomplished next
week are: collect media: sound, graphics
and to make up 5 questions for each topic.
Decided not to use PHP4!
Atul proposed use of vector graphics for
presentation images (easier to resize).
A list of future extentions shall be made.

Agreed global navigation of presentation and
on horizontal division of screen into two parts:
menu (navigation bar), content pane.
Decided that Intro runs within mainframe, Outro uses
full screen. Daniel N. was assigned creator
of all global sounds.
Determined that application will be optimized for
resolution of 800x600.
Questions have to be answered correctly before
application proceeds to the next question.
Number of trials is recorded and a summary is
given at the end of each theme. Discussed use
of PHP4 and Templates to ease website administration:
Dominik B. agreed to think about it again.

Determined structure of HTML pages and made decision to
use CSS. (Cascading Style Sheets)
Dominik B. was assigned manager of the website and agreed
to put his first proposal online before Fri 27 Oct 00, 14:00,
Job progress will be indicated on the storyboard of the website
with use of colours.

theme and would work on simple animations
for selected theme.

Daniel N. agreed to work on certain parts of the
presentation: Splash screen, Intro, Navigation
buttons
